Zeno began her career in the animal feed industry in South Africa after obtaining her MS degree in dairy nutrition from the University of Pretoria. After gaining 10 years of experience as a commercial nutritionist with involvement in central formulations, feed milling, research and technical consulting, Zeno relocated to the U.S. to obtain her Ph.D. in feedlot nutrition at New Mexico State University. Her research focused on investigating the relationship between liver abscesses and the microbiome of feedlot cattle and their environment under the direction of Dr’s Glen Duff, Clint Lóest and T.G. Nagaraja. After completion of her studies, Zeno worked as global beef specialist in innovation with Nutreco in the Netherlands after which she joined Kemin as senior product manager and later strategic marketing lead overseeing their ruminant portfolio. Zeno joined the dsm-firmenich team in 2024 as a Ruminant Technical Expert.
Zeno lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband Mike, 7-year-old daughter Hannah-Rose and 2 dogs.

Shea earned her B.S. in Biology from Illinois Tech University in Chicago. Originally from Michigan, she began her career as an R&D chemist in the automotive and industrial lubricants industry before relocating to Texas, where her work in animal nutrition and feed manufacturing began. She joined the ANH Fort Worth site in 2019 as the Quality Assurance Specialist and advanced to Quality & Operational Excellence Manager in 2020. In this role, Shea optimized pet and ruminant quality programs, spearheaded the Vulnerable Species initiative, and supported major site upgrades, including the implementation of the WinCos Process Control System.
In 2023, Shea became the Plant Manager for the Fort Worth Blend site. She now combines her scientific background with her operations and DLC manufacturing experience, playing a key role in developing the new alcohol-free DLC formulations and leading the site’s transition into a high-performing non-pet facility.
Shea lives in Waxahachie, Texas with her husband Ray and their five dogs, Luna, Odin, Mars, Gabby, and Buddy. Outside of work, she can be found at the barn riding or competing in Eventing horse shows with her Thoroughbred, Trip.
