Kristin Bonham: End of Year Message

Dear ANH Customers,

Happy Holidays! I hope this season has started off wonderfully for you and your families. It’s hard to believe 2025 is coming to a close and 2026 is just around the corner. Personally, I’m looking forward to a full house with my husband and three kids and traveling back to my family’s farm over the holiday—there’s nothing better than that at this time of year!

As we reflect on 2025, our North America team is truly grateful for the trust and partnership you’ve shared with us. Whether through conversations at industry events, discussions about your challenges, or time spent together at dsm-firmenich gatherings, we deeply appreciate the opportunities to connect and collaborate.

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus is on strengthening those partnerships even further. We know every operation is unique, and no two challenges are the same. That’s why we’re committed to spending more time with you to identify local, tailored solutions—supported by data-driven insights from services like Verax™ blood biomarker testing. If you see emerging needs, please reach out to your dsm-firmenich representative so we can work together to find the right fit for your animals and your business.

This season has also brought important industry updates:

  • AFIA is calling for action to reduce dependency on China for essential vitamins like B1, B2, D3, and E. The latest IFEEDER report highlights vulnerabilities in vitamin supply and the potential impact on animal feed and food security.
  • The China Feed Industry Association (CFIA) introduced new standards for 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 feed additives containing calcitriol. Products discouraged in China may enter export markets, so please keep this in mind when evaluating 25-OH D3 solutions.

Finally, many of you have asked about the future of our Animal Nutrition & Health business. We are committed to sharing updates as they become available.  When the time comes, all stakeholders—including you—will receive the news simultaneously via an official press release. Until then, our commitment to you and your success remains unchanged.

Thank you for your trust and partnership throughout this year. From all of us at dsm-firmenich, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year!

Warm regards,
Kristin Bonham
