PARSOL® 340 (INCI-naam: Octocrylene) is een effectieve UV-B-absorbeerder die gemakkelijk integreert met de oliefase van zonnebrandformules. Deze in olie oplosbare, heldergele viskeuze vloeistof is de meest effectieve fotostabilisator voor PARSOL® 1789.

PARSOL® 340 is een uitstekende solubilisator voor vaste, kristallijne UV-absorbers zoals PARSOL® 1789, ethylhexyltriazon, diethylaminohydroxybenzoylhexylbenzoaat en benzofenon-3. Door deze UV-filter te combineren met andere UV-filters kun je een hoge SPF bereiken. PARSOL® 340 is wereldwijd goedgekeurd.
