PARSOL® Guard is een technisch ingrediënt dat wordt gebruikt om lichtgevoelige cosmetische producten te beschermen tegen degradatie door UV-straling en als stabilisator in cosmetische preparaten. Het bestaat uit drie geregistreerde veilige UV-filters: Butylmethoxydibenzoylmethaan, homosalaat, octocryleen en tocoferol (opgelost in zonnebloemolie). De UV-filter is oplosbaar in oliën, ethanol en andere alcoholen.
