PARSOL® MCX (INCI: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate) is een sterke UVB-absorber die ideaal is voor waterbestendige zonnebrandformules . De UV-filter is een kleurloze vloeistof die gemakkelijk integreert in de oliefase van zonnebrandformules en de SPF verhoogt in combinatie met andere UV-filters. PARSOL® MCX is een uitstekende oplossubilisator voor veel vaste UV-filters waaronder PARSOL® 1789, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate en Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Deze UV-filter is wereldwijd goedgekeurd.
