PARSOL® DHHB (INCI: Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate) is an efficient UVA absorber for sunscreen, face care and color cosmetic formulations. It enables broadband protection when combined with effective UVB filters and can also contribute to SPF. PARSOL® DHHB is an oil-soluble, off-white to pale yellow powder that must be completely solubilized in formulations. It is compatible with all UVB filters on the market and is compatible with zinc oxide and iron oxides, which makes it fit for purpose in hybrid formulations. With its good eco score, PARSOL® DHHB also enables formulators to develop high eco-class formulations (DSM Sunscreen Optimizer™ 2.0). PARSOL® 1789 (INCI: Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) is a very strong and efficient UVA absorber for sunscreen and other skin care formulations. It enables broadband protection when combined with effective UVB filters and can also contribute to SPF.
PARSOL® ZX (INCI: Zinc Oxide, Triethoxycaprilylsilane) is an inorganic UV filter with a broad UVA‐UVB absorption curve that also goes into the blue light spectrum. Our grade with a particle size ensures SPF and best UVA performance.
