Argan oil is een natuurlijke, biologische bioactieve stof voor de huid, gewonnen uit de pitten van de inheemse arganboom (Argania Spinosa-pitolie). Dit bioactieve ingrediënt is ECOCERT-, COSMOS- en NATRUE-gecertificeerd biologisch. Het bevat 80% onverzadigde vetzuren en is uitzonderlijk rijk aan natuurlijke tocoferolen, fenolen, fenolzuur en carotenen.

Argan oil helps to protect and restore skin functions, making the skin soft and supple, and is suitable for nourishing and protective formulas. Het is ook een krachtige natuurlijke glansversterker en biedt intensieve verzorging voor droog of broos haar.  DSM's Argan oil is virgin, ontgeurd en wordt geleverd als heldere, geurarme, geelgekleurde olie.
